We build our houses in our innovative EasyPanel technology from massive cross-laminated timber, which allows for assembly without the use of heavy equipment, similarly to the EASYFOOTINGS foundation system. Glued wood has all the advantages of solid wood and a guarantee of the highest quality material. The structural elements of the walls are joined together with a double tongue and groove and fixed on our EASYFOOTINGS foundation. The ceilings and roof are also made of EasyPanel. The strength of such a structure is greater than a log structure of a similar cross-section, as well as a skeletal structure in relation to which it contains several layers glued alternately, which gives exceptional rigidity and stability of the elements. The visual quality of the surface of the structural elements and their horizontal connection gives a unique effect of the interior - natural and modern at the same time - difficult to achieve with other technologies. For these reasons, we have introduced EasyPanel, which is the best choice for EASYHOMES houses and it largely determines their unique character. By maintaining consistency in the functional layout and rational formal decisions, it was possible to reduce the total usable energy demand of the house to 40.00 kWh/m² a year. The way we build must fundamentally change to harmonize with tree and carbon cycles to realize wooden revolution. The pursuit of sustainability should be about finding a way to live as part of a healthy, regenerating ecosystem. We should build with wood, because we and trees have evolved in the same oxygen-rich environment, so we can coexist; we can share our water and nutrients, carbon and life cycles. This means building buildings in such a way that the resources we use to build them can regenerate over the life of the building. Buildings that are good for the planet should be closer to nature. These will be buildings that are not airtight boxes, with recirculated chilled air that is not the healthiest. We should coexist with trees, because they are the best Earth companions that a person can dream of, according to the planet Earth manual. If you can look up and see the sky, if you can look out the window, if you are in touch with nature, it will do you good.
